5th degree black belt under the one and only Roberto Traven, a BJJ legend and UFC veteran. This guy’s got the credentials to back up his skills, 8-time Brazilian state champion, 3-time Brazilian regional BJJ/grappling champion, 5-time NAGA champion, and don’t forget, a Grappler’s Quest champion! And let me tell you something, all his victories in his professional MMA career, every single one of them, came by way of submission. That’s some serious grappling skills, folks!

But, you know what’s even more impressive about Carlos? He’s an amazing instructor, man. One of the most open, friendly, and approachable teachers in martial arts. His technical explanations are on point, his coaching methods are top-notch, and his encouraging attitude, it just brings the best out of his students. He’s developed countless new students into top BJJ practitioners. This guy is a real asset to the BJJ community.

“Alright folks, two years of blood, sweat, and tears, and it all comes down to this moment! I am proud to present to you my first full-length feature film project, showcasing the story of my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach, the one and only Carlos David Oliveira. This has been a labor of love for me, and I am grateful to everyone who has supported me and helped make this film a reality. OSS! That’s BJJ speak for ‘one spirit, one team’, folks. This film is a tribute to the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the impact it has had on my life, and I cannot wait for you all to see it. So sit back, buckle up, and get ready for a wild ride!”
